Apple’s iPhone 17 Series

Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn’t really your style, and you still want to grab one right away, you will be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19th release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after much anticipation (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, the new A19 chip is quicker and also more optimized, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a huge bump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and also a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more impressive.

Available iPhone 17 Colour Options

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in blue, orange and silver.
